Theatre Biog

Kira Lauren has performed since the age of three and worked on a professional level since the age of twelve. At eighteen she moved to New York City and studied drama at the number one drama school in America, New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Her time at NYU included a one-off course at London's Trinity College of Music where she studied with one of the West End's top Musical Directors, Mike Dixon. In 2003 she graduated with honours from NYU and moved to London.

Since arriving in the UK, she has worked on many productions including the critically acclaimed Back of the Throat (The Old Red Lion Theatre), See Bob Run (Finborough Theatre), Get Away (The Old Red Lion Theatre), All in the Timing (The Bridewell), Lucky Nurse and Other Short Musicals (Finborough Theatre), Other Women (The Bridewell & The Greenwich Theatre), Have a Nice Life (Union Theatre), Lippa's The Wild Party (Riverside Studios), LaChiusa's The Wild Party (Union Theatre - UK Premiere), And the World Goes Round (Edinburgh Fringe), and a workshop production of City Lights (The Old Vic). Kira is currently the voice of Toshiba.
